Overview
Grading in class has two categories, “Process” and “Final Revised Project”. The process part of your grade consists of two parts, Studio Grade and Project Folders. The Final Revised Project consists of the following: Taking Stock Report, Collection with Introduction, Infographic with Problem Statement Presentation, Digital Essay and Policy Paper.
Your Process grade accounts for one-third of your course grade (a total of one hundred points). A successful process grade depends largely on your choices: the effort you put into preparing assignments, the care you take in submitting them, and preparation. In a real sense, you earn this grade. While your Final Revised Project will be assessed based on the quality of the work following revision, your Process grade is based on the quality of your effort to learn the craft of writing. Through your Studio Grade and your Project Folders, you are given an opportunity to demonstrate participation. Follow the links for details.
