Overview:
Grounds for Argument is an interactive, online textbook. We’ll use it to establish a vocabulary of concepts for talking about argument so that you can complete your position paper, which will take a position on the issue you identified in your Conversation Collection. Completing Grounds for Argument chapters are not optional. You’ll be taking notes on them and be responsible for presenting on the chapter as part of a group.
Instructions:
You’ve been invited to the Grounds for Argument site. Accept the invitation to it so that you can complete the required chapters. For each chapter, in addition to the exercises, you need to use the “Instruction Manual” notes, which you’ll label and keep in the class notes section of your notebook. You’ll turn those notes in as part of the an upcoming project folder. You should keep in mind that Grounds for Argument records each assignments you complete it.
