Checklist
It would be difficult to create a checklist that covered the three assignments you need to submit. Think of this then as a reminder list to help you prepare the portfolio. As you prepare your portfolio, please make sure of the following:
Submission:
Hard Copy:
Come to class on Thursday, May 5 with the assignments stacked in the following order. I will collect your portfolios during the first five minutes of class.
- Collection with Introduction
- Position Paper
- Taking Stock
Make sure that the assignments are stapled in the top left hand corner, as three separate assignments.
Google Drive Online:
In our submissions folder, there is a folder called “Final Portfolio” and in that is a folder with your name on it. Please put your three final written assignments and digital essay in it. This will be available on Tuesday, May 3.
E-Portfolio:
In the template, you will see that there are three spaces, one for each written assignment and one space for the digital essay. In class, we will submit your work to the E-portfolio site.
MLA Format
Use MLA Format appropriately for each assignment. Each assignment requires different kinds of work. In Taking Stock, for example, you need only be concerned with headings, type face, font, margins and pagination. In the Position Paper, you have to consider in test citations and a works cited page. Use the list below, though, to remind you of what you must look for in the assignment sheet.
- Heading
- Page numbers (placement and type)
- In text citations
- Works Cite Page
- Title
