“Career Choice”

My story is about the choice between arts and sciences and whether I want to pursue a career that will make me truly happy or find my happiness as I work. High school gave me a choice when I thought I was set on one option my whole life.

Danielle Kinches

“Balancing Act”

I went to a private Jewish school from Kindergarten through 12th grade where we learned general studies but also had a second group of core classes in Judaics.  My story explores the struggle to balance this dual-curriculum and how it impacted me, in high school in particular. Through this story, you will learn that the balancing I had to do in school also took place outside an academic sphere with my wide variety of interests.

Mike Yang

This is my digital story where I reveal my passion for art in high school and how today I am still uncertain about what I should pursue at Binghamton University. In this video, I have a presentation of the photos and art that I have done recently. After completing this project I realized that my artistic passion should not be ignored in college even if I choose a career in Watson School of Engineering.

“Fate not Failure”

A Catalyst for Future Success

My story is about my college process and how while it may have initially felt like I failed or that I didn’t do enough I have used my “failure” as a catalyst for future success. It describes how I went through the motions and watched as a “worst case scenario” college process unfolded itself before my eyes.
